Rishta hasn't tried teenage romance and neither I think the makers know how to execute it. They had maybe tried during Naksh Tara phase but that time show was still anchored by Hina Akshara. Rishta is mostly shaadi and sasuraal stuff.

I think 7 years leap would be in jan and gen leap just before starting of ipl like suddenly they changed ml and pl last year,they will do samething

very likely this happen. T20 World cup is scheduled during Feb in india. Teenage leap will be shown during this phase and IPL will start in May . At that time new gen can be introduced.

Ipl happens in march always and ends in may

I believe leap rumors only when Dheeraj Dhupar's PR releases news that he is locked for the role then 1 week later, he quits because they are not paying him enough
