Ranveer has immense appeal in the West. I cannot explain to you how many times I've shown his movies to people that tell me all they think of Bollywood is silly dances. ( Please forgive them, they do not understand your rich culture, this is their superficial view). Many times I've actually had people tell me, after watching a Ranveer movie with me: ''Wow, this guy is soo good. Very different from what we've seen or heard of Bollywood''. So I think that yes, many in other countries have an image that BW is just some romcoms, and silly or copycat action movies and the Majority have no clue about some quality movies from BW industry. Many times they know More about South Indian Cinema - so big is the reach of South. Ranveer always makes my friends say that his acting is truly great and on par if not better than many HW stars. SO to me it was sad to see him go through a rough patch, life got busy, I was not taking notes of this project. So I am truly glad and happy for Ranveer that he was part of such an immense succes, of such an important movie that not only make HIM look good but the BW industry in general. For all he went through, I hope he gets back tenfold in blessings and good fortune and happiness. For me he will always be the stalwart actor of BW.⭐ May he have a long and prosperous career !
