You are just disappointed Aishwarya didn't do the role.

It was best Rani did the role because she did a marvelous job and is remembered to this day for her exemplary performance.

It is like Madonna being passed up for Whitney Houston in the Bodyguard. Kevin Costner didn't like Madonna's attitude like SRK didn't want to put up with Aishwarya's personal life troubles with Salman. Whitney was meant to do the role like Rani did in CC.

I love Madonna more than anything, but Whitney was a gem in Bodyguard and Rani was a revelation in CC.

SRK was misogynistic for replacing aish in all of their movies when she was a victim of abuse. No woman should go through. If someone is okay with that then there's something wrong with them.

I don't think so. she is looking misfit for that role. she is not a commercial movie actress. she was doing parallel cinema/art cinema then. is she talking lie? Ameesha Patel was a first choice for this role.

no why would chitu lie she is not random C grader like rautela..chitu barely started in movies back in early 2000s and she had a hype and aura..priya was this typical rich girl who has glamour and style..chitu fit the part to the T..rani had to go through a total makeup for this role..it wasn't tailor made for her due to lack of appeal but she did great

It doesn't make these opinions fit to the reality only because they are repeated by a nth number of people nth times... But if it fits to the own belief-system then even those in a better knowing would not be able to change them.

I don't know when exactly this woman in the first post was even a fleeting idea for getting casted... Aish anyways had made clear that she wanted to do a full-fledged romance story with SRK and it was even a talk during the shooting of the Ish Kamina (Shakti). So, as far as I know, she was the choice as Juhi had veered into what is called Arthouse movies. Only after that collaboration (Aish-SRK) got so much trouble, it became clear that this kind of romance wasn't meant to be for them () ...
