The only reason for gen 4’s downfall -

Showing the FL as a lusty doormat cheating with someone else’s husband. Side characters and pairs can’t be held responsible when leads are this bekar

Once a pair’s charm is gone, it can’t be recreated. Be it Abhira or Abhiara. People madly loved Abhira but post Nav’s death nobody cared about the reunion coz makers had ruined the ship beyond repair. Same for Abhiara, most were excited to see their journey post marriage, Abhir realising Kiara’s love and understanding what he felt for Charu was infatuation. But makers thought showing ema will give them trp but it didn’t. So after leap they had to kill Charu to restart Abhiara but now it’s too late. Even the pair’s shippers don’t give a damn. And when nobody’s caring about a pair, it can’t be held responsible for trp loss

I don't think so the amount of love and hatred for Abhiara spread across tweets in X show that there are people who care about Abhiara.
