They can save this gen if they bring another known faces and introduce them as Parralel leads probably as kairav and muskans daughter and her husband.Give them a daughter Naira(same age bracket as maira)and simply reduce maira to PL.If Shahi reduces abhimaan to parallel then kalesh hoga.
Using the naira card will definitely attract new audiences.Legacy fans will tune in coz of kairav and naira.
I doubt if people will relate with maira as no one is relating with her parents
Why not? If the script is good ppl will definitely watch.. Ppl walked away coz of ghatiya leap unnecessary cameos.. this is the first time in rishta where dad ran away instead of mom!! If makers compromise rishta over upma then trp keeps dropping, if there is any positive track around the leads then definitely ppl come back for gen5 who loved gen-4 from the beginning !!

I agree.Lets hope we get some good leads and script.
If writers keeps destroying the show, no point of bringing in gen5!!
People will definitely watch Gen 5. Every time this show takes a Gen leap, people claim that the show will flop but the opposite happens.
Many people thought that this Gen would flop due to the low TRPs in the beginning but now two years later the show is still standing strong.
