Treasure Island — A classic adventure full of pirates, treasure hunts, danger, and daring. Great for a boy around 14 who loves swashbuckling, mystery, and exploration.

The Cruel Prince — Though more on the fantasy side, this one has a fast-paced plot, intrigue, and magic. Good if he’s okay with trying a fantasy story with more complex world-building.
