Atleast on the show, he was shown to be the son of a strict businessman (some person rich, businessman or not, cant remember) who insisted on him studying to join and grow the family enterprise. Arjun is said to have left home, against his parents' wish to pursue a career as an officer, never to look back.

There were references to this in the initial episodes. In one episode related to serial murder of parents who pressurised their children for marks and academics, flashback scenes were shown where Arjun is a commissioned officer and goes to his father to seek his blessings but his ties are severed since his father thinks Arjun disappointed him.

Initial episodes? Idk i don't remember...so did they show any closure of Arjun going back to his parents or they came to him or they just limited it to the flashbacks?

Nope no other flashbacks and like everything else, no closure.

Stray voiceovers of the past with his father saying how he would be a "mamuli sa police officer", became an ACP, friendship goals with Rathore, scenes with the trio (Rathore, Arjun, Roshni), married Roshni who was killed on their first anniversary, accusations by Rathore that he was complacent, led the life of a recluse at Ravi Lodge, moved to the garage and eventually met Rathore who handed over a file (presumably proofs against Sikander) and then wrote then a note and left.

Ohh... They never completed anything..so I till the date had this in mind that he is orphan...😭😂 Otherwise i would have added his parents' scenes just like Rathore... And imagine if Arjun had actually walked away from his parents then giving gyan to Malay here then it would be hypocrisy 😭

So let's consider him as an orphan for this story..
