Sardarji 3 made 80cr WW and emerged a BB without India release

AG on the other hand seems to be a washout..i have not read anything about collections anywhere but guess this one is wrapping below 5cr WW..disaster! I guess Sardarji 3 was also helped with a release in pak from where it made 30cr..

Overall..a disastrous outcome..something which they did not see coming when the 1st teaser came out..

No indian movies are banned in pak since 2019

They only make exceptions for diljeet's punjabi movies. Hosla Rakh (2021) and Sardarji 3 (2025) both released there. Sardarji 3 broke all records in Pakistan.

I'm surprised that no one questions why Indian movies are banned in Pakistan, yet people get their knickers in a twist when Pakistani movies or actors are banned in India. Kaunsa unki yahan humare films ke liye thaali leke baite hain ? If that's not double standards — maybe even bigotry — then what is?

It's a kind of (imo childish) Tit for tat. The "double standard" or the "bigotry" is in other fields, not in the 'you-don't-show-our-movies-so-we-don't-show-yours". The movies are watched anyways if there are interest and devices (on whatever platforms), it's just a monetary loss if banned from theatres, at the end.

Movie distributors have choice where they want to distribute their movies. Post pulwana, BW makers decided to not distribute their movies to pak. The ban on indian movies is more like a cover because they stopped distributing their movies to pak.

Reciprocity isn’t bigotry.

Tit for tat? You say it like India’s reacting irrationally — LoL this is not some schoolyard spat. Pakistani bans on Indian films have existed since 1965. That’s nearly 60 years of one-sided hostility. And yet, every time India decides to restrict access or pull back support, suddenly it's "childish" or "political" or "bigoted."

If mutual respect and exchange aren’t part of the deal, why should the door always be open just one way?

It’s only a monetary loss for them, because they’ve never allowed our films in their cinemas — even though Bollywood fuels half their pop culture and memes.

So when India finally chooses not to keep extending that one-sided courtesy, it’s not about being petty — it’s about being fair.
