Maira's sudden strong hatred for Geetanjali is so weird. Geetanjali isn’t being an abusive stepmom now that caused this change in Maira. Everyone, including the little girl, is making Geetanjali a soft target while coddling Arman, who is actually responsible for putting them all in this situation. Maira didn’t even bother questioning her father about why he kept her away from her mother all these years, forget about getting upset over it but when it comes to Geetanjali, everyone is ready to mistreat her.

I know Geetanjali is no better, she should’ve known better than chasing red flags and forcing herself into the family. But here, I’m just appalled by the writing for a supposedly 7-year-old girl.

She shows such strong feelings at this age, I’m not sure how she'll develop as a character, let alone as a lead post Gen leap .
