Are we denying the exodus of Kashmiri pandits from their homeland ? That was not fiction.

Neither the exodus and killing of Pandits nor the riots in Kolkatta nor many other things shown in movies are simply fiction... but the way one tells what happened is important especially when the history part is quite recent and fresh in the individual memories... Agnihotri has a personal agenda which is also driven by a certain thinking based on partiality and cultural/religious bias which these movies clearly reflect. He isn't the only filmmaker/storyteller where hate and bias cloud the narration but a quite arrogant one (latter in my feeling).

Saw the movie very disturbing and depressed 😫

Religion would obviously reflect in K files because it was the major factor behind the attrocities faced by Kashmiri pandits. I do not know about Bengal files, so cannot comment.

Where does my statement say that?? I am from UP....and the atrocities there......you can't even imagine.....I was born and brought up in Lucknow ...and now when I go to India....I am scared to go out with my daughter anywhere at night.

One can create a movie to divide people, one can also create movies about uniting them...the floods in Punjab don't know any religion...neither do the people helping each other...

As for Kashmir and Pandits... did it never cross the minds of those applauding the Agnihotri movie who exactly had a very massive interest in instigating what happened there...there never is only o n e side...sometimes there are even multiple ones...

What happened in UP? I am sorry I do not know. Was an entire community chased out of UP overnight ? Agnihotri is a RW and we all know that . However, let us not pretend that the leftist directors haven't sold us a lot of lies and agenda through their movies.

Kashmir Files however uncomfortable is still the truth. The problem lies with movies like The Kerala story which is based on false data and fiction.

Delhi files was a completely different film based on the 1984 Sikh Genocide sponsored by the Congress.

Sikhs from Delhi along with NGOs have been fighting for justice for 40+ years. They finally got some of it, thanks to the efforts of BJP Delhi.
