Not sure how authentic the stories would be but if it is a Swastik production I have very little hope.
As it is there are too many differences between Ganesha - Karthikeya tales from the North and South... Even to the basic who is elder... Northern tales claim Karthikeya to be elder whereas in the South it is Ganesha who is elder.
After the Meenakshi Sundareshwar fiasco in Shiv Shakti I am almost terrified to watch a Northern interpretation of Southern tales... especially if it is from people who create more fanfics than authentic retelling...
But will check it out for a while... Can't resist the temptation of a religious show and costumes... Hopefully the music will be good too...
with swastik, they got good cast albeit they just distort too much .. knowing a lot of their productions since their inception esp mata ki chowki (not exactly mythological but had the religious element)days, the copious amount of comedy they add in their religious shows is like k sirf hassi hi choott ti h chahe how much one would contest their versionthe meenakshi sundareshwar thing in shiv shakti was just flabbergasting
but i already figured the distortions especially from the sati track onwards ...only ram-subha made the show salvageable
