It's Wednesday, the film is releasing tomorrow, and I don't see Orange or Sold Out shows in Chandigarh, where shows are allotted in large numbers. Chandigarh is a small metro city; imagine if this is the case here, the whole of Punjab will score even lesser. Not a good sign for the film. Maybe on the 15th, it may score better, but it will have word-of-mouth spread fast, so same-day spot booking might get a boost or might not even get average hype to grow. Let's see, the box office is unpredictable, and YRF has done the unthinkable with Saiyaara marketing just 2 days before release; they'll surely do something to hype the film here too.

The situation is the same in Mumbai, The advance bookings are dismal, with only a handful of shows marked in yellow. Hrithik’s star power seems to have been exposed. All hopes now rest on Jr NTR and the performance of the Telugu version. However, it faces tough competition from Coolie, which is enjoying phenomenal advance bookings across the South and is likely to eat into its business.

Honestly, War 2 looks like a total treat if you’re into big-screen action and star power. Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR together? That’s already a win for the eyes. The trailer gave me that full-on massy action vibe — sleek fights, stylish shots, and some insane dance face-off energy. Yeah, I’ve heard people say the story might be predictable and the VFX could’ve been better in parts, but honestly… when two superstars are throwing punches and trading dialogues, sometimes you just want to sit back with popcorn and enjoy the madness. For me, this feels like a pure theatre experience, not one you watch on your phone.

It's not gonna take a great opening thanks to yrf's clumsy ass marketing, insane pricing and late shows opening. Also I love Hrithik but he needs to stop doing repetitive action films, that's significantly started to affect his pull.

Inside reports are good apparently but let's see how the WOM is.

Finally an action movie where the main protagonist is going to look the part. But for Ayaan’s shoddy and subpar directing, this movie has all the right kind of ingredients to make a good action spy thriller. Watching it over the weekend just for HR, despite everything else about the movie making me not to watch it….🤞

yrf hardly promotes any of their movies. i remember they never promoted Tashan; even pathaan trailer and song came so late.
