Being possessive is one thing & taking the child away from a parent is another thing altogether. Abhira was understanding towards Armaan's protectiveness & tolerated his irrational stuff patiently. So this track of making her protective & comparing her to Armaan is stupid.

But here Ar himself realised what he has done is an unforgivable offence. He’s guilty and gave up on Maira completely. (Not like Ak who wasn’t even following court orders).. he’s repenting.. and for me punishment depends how much the character redeems itself.. He’s stopping Geetu from mingling, trying his best to make Ab Maira bond, helped Dadisa get back her house and firm.. even when Maira got an allergy he isn’t blaming Ab like he used to so makers are showing change (ab kitne din yeh change rahega that I don’t know).. but they’re slowly redeeming him.
