You are giving too much credit to the writers, Indira. The_Best is right here. The entire confrontation is downplayed. I actually thought ki baki ka sab downplay kiya only to give this confrontation a BIGGG moment. This could have been a banger for Abhira's characterisation. Also, they distributed it in two halves. Yesterday and today. Yeh pura ek episode rakhte toh impact would have been tremendous. The most awaited part turned out to be lukewarm. To be honest, the writing was on the wall for ages. Viewers are refusing to see it.

Even the Kiara part had more drama.

The rest of the episode was mostly about Maira feeling upset about leaving Armaan.

@bold both episodes were released on weekend instead of weekdays, people don't prefer watching episodes on TV during weekends. Episodes with Armaan sa's heroic acts to reunite mother-daugther will be released on weekdays, so obviously more people are going to watch it in comparison to weekend episodes, but the credit will be given to viewer's endless love for Armaan sa, who might just be watching for drama or anticipation

Can't stop laughing on Armaan's dialogue "mujhe pata tha tumhara same yehi reaction hoga" Armaan sa knows Abhira so well He knew, emotionally challenged Abhira won't give even 5% of the reaction or outburst he gave, while confronting KP and Vidya mata. Even dialogues were impactful that time unlike kitney birthdays celebrate kiye. For victim Armaan sa even that 5% reaction was loud and apt, wah. Armaan sa also searched for Pookie and found her because of his relentless efforts, unlike careless bad mother 👏 If Abhira separated him from Maira for years, his reaction and intensity of confrontation would've been on another level 🔥 Abhira's voice decibels were too low for confrontation, as if whatever she said shouldn't be heard by others. Isse loud toh I scold my students for being late in my class.

They have a pattern I think. From the start itself, they release their important episodes on sundays I feel. Abhimaan proposal was on Sunday there were a couple of other such episodes too. I don't know if it's a conscious effort but why would someone do that.

I may be wrong too but I have been thinking this for a while now.

@bold Sat/Sun episodes rarely had more TRP than weekdays episodes, maybe they release important episode on Sat/Sun to fill in the gap in episode-wise TRP. Weekend episodes have comparatively lower TRP than weekdays' episodes, which affects overall TRP, so important episodes on weekends means more than average TRP for those episodes, which will lead to improved overall TRP.

Abhimaan proposal had 1.9/2.0 (as far as I remember), it was filled with family scenes too, but if released on weekdays, it would have more TRP, just like Main Yahaan Hoon sequence, it got lowest TRP, because it was a part of weekend episodes. That's my assumption only, based on episode wise TRP analysis, may or may not be true.
