The only good thing shown is Maira knows her real mum (Abhira) was searching for her for 7 years and she didn’t just abandon her. So her anger won’t be for abandoning her. It’ll just be more for separation from her dad and Geetu

That's not unnatural tbh. It's not Maira's fault that she was made to live away from her mom for so many years. It will take some time for her to accept Abhira as her mom.
