I guess it's tough for him to win a best actor award given how much his character was degraded in the story.....otherwise yes he definitely deserved recognition for his amazing performance in making people connected to Ani's character despite the super garbage script.

Character degradation is something and acting the part with conviction is something else...he made fans root for Anirudh despite such horrendous fall of the character...and exactly for this reason his acting should be recognised through best actor award in critics choice category (if such category exists)..

This awards show doesn't have any Critics awards but the ITAs may have a shot for Krushal again....competition will be tougher there though and I think Krushal needs to be more well connected network-wise to manage to win these solo acting awards but yeh banda toh apne aap ko hidden hi rakhta hai most of the time from any social events
