From the member reviews on various forums and the general WOM what I understand is the USP of the movie is Ahaan and the impeccable chemistry between the leads . Otherwise the content seems to be just average to below average. With music also not being anything extraordinary, now it will be interesting to see how Ahaan and the chemistry of the lead pair will sail this movie.

Ok watched it.

It's not going to be a movie for everyone, it is a full on romantic/angsty film.

It's not a bad film, it's watchable and there are some good moments, but the parts near the end do get quite boring and stretched, the ending could have been better, it was just okay. The story is a predictable one and we have seen the young romance with angst and heartbreak before, so in terms of story there is nothing ground breaking.

The songs worked well in the film, for some reason none of the songs clicked for me outside of the film, but they worked well with the scenes.

In terms of acting, honestly, this is a decent debut from ahaan and Aneet, they acted well in their parts. They had decent dialogue delivery and expressions. Now does this mean they are stars and we can already label them great actors? no it does not, this is just one film and they still have a very long way to go. In order to really prove themselves they will have to have versatility and play different parts. What they do after this film will be crucial. The chemistry between ahaan and aneet was good.

So overall, is it a big screen movie? I don't think so, this can easily be watched on your TV or laptop at home. I feel alot of the younger gen will like the film and connect to it, it's not a family film.

Plus

Spoiler:

Saiyaara is heavily inspired by the korean movie 'A Moment to Remember', even that is a love story and in the film the leading female character has early onset alzheimers and loses her memory, that movie was much more realistic and showed the true heartbreaking consequences of alzheimers. This is a bollywood film so obviously it will be lighter and filmy.

So yeh saiyaara is not a completely original story

Yeh tou KNPH and Ashiqui 2 wala scene hogaya

Do we have a star right after debut in 2025. Crazy. Thought those times are long gone.

Ahaan is not a superstar, yes the media and his PR are trying their best to create and push that narrative, but will ahaan have organic audience fan following like hrithik did? I don't think so. KNPH was a time of no social media and no PR tactics like we have today, yet Hrithik became an overnight star, those days are now gone with all the PR and social media facade we have today. Hrithik had the looks, acting, charm, we haven't even seen half of that from ahaan yet, he hasn't even given a single interview to show his personality. He seems quite boring from whatever I've seen of him in his sisters vlogs.

nae bhai nae. Numbers speak for themselves. Baat hi khatam. PR pe crowd aa jate tou shanaya didi ki movie 25lac pe open na hoti. Credit where due. This is huge number for a movie with newcomers and it has happened after a long long time.
