i have a feeling if they use more meters regional shows will get more trp than hindi shows. eg bengali, sun tv vijay tv from south indian states etc. in those areas still people watch tv for these serials. hindi folks are mostly detached

Yep. The figure might be correct. TRP calculation is criticised heavily for this and that’s why I kept saying “target audience”.

I am in low network area. Will try to read that PIB Note and explain it to you.
