Hi All, I am a fan of Kaise Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye, I liked the characters, specially Virat and Amruta. Its been so long since we got such range of actors. I am a fan of Arjit and Sriti. I loved the concept that they mainly focused on their love story, not that in between the drama they lost the lead couple story. I have seen a intelligent and matured Female lead in such a long time, i mean if we compare Gul Khan's serial female lead, they are showed low educated or doing small jobs, mainly from lower middle class. I have not seen anyone apart from Prerna Sharma, Kashish, Pragya , Priya Sood and now Mukta took it to Amruta Bhavani Chitnis, the girl is earning in lakhs, very well educated and the only difference she and male lead have is the financial status, that he is bit lucky to be born in a privileged background, otherwise in education and intelligence they are equal. I mean I loved the way she was shown working towards own startup and have a good job that she can take care of her family, even afford her family expenses and all. She need a partner to be emotionally available and shoulder her emotional needs. Coming to our hero, VSA a lot has been said about him that he is ASR, I would like to differ, he is not that dark, he married forcefully, but he was not vicious to blame it on Amruta like Khushi was blamed, Amruta was not proven innocent, but still he was never inflicting pain on her like ASR.
There were moments just after wedding, where he was caring, it was just the instigation from Babita, that he sometimes stops himself from showing his caring side to Amruta. He never let anybody insult her whatever the situation was, he declared everyone that she is her wife, when Babita was trying to prove otherwise forceful marriage was not acceptable but still it was a momentry reaction, I agree at that moment in story, there was a high point to bind them in relation, like else there would be nothing binding them, and out of the situation they would have moved apart. Then story would have only progressed if they realized their love for each other.
In that moment, the scene could be have a bit different, but I liked the way that he was not disrespectful after that marriage, he have his own negative points,
He realized that to make Amruta week he used Bhavani, which was terrible, but after that moment he have immediately apologised to Bhavani.
I loved that whatever the situation was, they always have their sweet moments or bickering, it was not like ASR, ki i'll avoid her and all.
The only and absurd thing he did was the forceful marriage, but comparing him with ASR is wrong.
I loved the way, Virat was jittery when he heard Bhavani and JK asked Amruta on Haldi that why this all cannot be real. The way he said Banker JK and Bhavani are asking something you go and talk.
Virat is happy go lucky person, who understands and empathises, the quality, he and Amruta both shares. He empathises with Bhavani and tries to understand. he have his own demons, in past he loved someone and have gone against his family to be with that person, but got ditched, so he is afraid and all.
Like with Amruta, he had experienced love second time but it took him so much to understand because, he have got the burnt of his past, might be the emotions also differs, with Amruta he got the peace, he might not be aware the feeling that this can be related to love, like in case of Priyanka , he was always worried about her happiness. With Amruta, he didn't have to make effort, there was always peace.
I agree there were flaws, there story can be about Amruta's dreams aspirations, there going to new height in their respective careers.
I loved the way they shown the life Amruta lived when Virat was away or assumed dead, the way she left her sarees, the sarees she used to wear even before Virat came into her life. Like the life was suck out of her, the ever confident Amruta, was confident but her voice is low while talking to family members. She and Virat would dance the night out in family function, but in those two years, she would just be there with all and not actually able to enjoy.
When Shekar's mom was accused of dowry, hoe politely she asks, you are not aware of this na, you are Virat's friend. in Virat's presence or even him coming in her life she was so blunt and ready to pick fight against wrong.
And the day she realized Virat is back, and in that process, episode by episode Amruta was also getting her life back.
In Holi, she dance her heart out when Virat is finally back in her life, she is again playful, she started enjoying life back.
Virat and Amruta's way of expressing love was not cringe, like constant roasting, they were not opposites but they were somehow contrasting each other.
I loved the scene of their third wedding and way the scene where they consummated, that was quite different and romantic, and was a scene that you don't have to skip even if you are watching with family, and the almost same scene after leap was romantic and not embarrassing one.
Virat and Amruta were bold but when family is there the also have some shy moments, like they were not extremely brazen. Like when in hospital, he asked it means you are then he said we are then he sees every family member is in the room, he said you are pregnant.
I agree people hated, that Amruta is not saying anything after forceful marriage, no she was not Khushi, she was unafraid and gone for annulment, if Virat was not given idea by Abhiraj and Kavita, he would have let her do that. Amruta is empathetic, she already had some feelings when she was going through prenup, so she was not able to leave him after Priyanka came.
Once she left and tried to make Virat understand that she have to go, but the accident, he was wrong agreed but not a one to whitewash his mistakes or not acknowledging it.
ASR married Khushi and let her get slapped from her mother, he left her. VSA was not that brazen.
VSA also helped Amruta with Harsh's case and that was all before the Babita's crime came to fore whereas Arnav never listened to Khushi, she said she is not having affair with Shayam. And in that case Amruta and Virat also said that questioning character is out of line when you are a couple in case when Shekar questioned Nimmi and Harsh friendship.
There were loopholes, like Amruta shown in first episode the best sister, a good bond, but that part is never covered, no serious conversations. Like in the case Harsh got framed Virat understood the innocence, there were scene Amruta and nimmi and Amruta and Anjali bonding, but Virat and Harsh bonding or conversation never came that could have been explored and all, the bond could be like the Jai and Aditi's brother from Jane tu ya jane na movie, I mean it doesn't need to be lovey-dovey, it could be bit funny atleast.
I agree the Nimmi and Shekar bond could have been explored, but this was already serial ending so no scope.
I wanted Abir get his dose of punches from Virat.
I loved Bhavani, but she was very gullible and got influenced by Abir. I mean when Virat was not there, she should have been understanding mother, instead of giving her the stress, Harsh served her right, she was a weak mother and that was the reason Harsh turned out to be so immature. They villainize Jayesh, agreed he was wrong, but he was a good dad, like he asked Amu to focus on career when Bhavani was asking to dismiss office call, he seemed happy in Amu and Virat's prenup functions. I agree that Amruta was angry but he could have bit grey character, instead of being Ishhika's puppet.
I like Dildaar's character. I wanted, they could have given a last Aji episode, atleast mention of Aji after the marriage, Virat's accident, like it cannot happen na ki Aji left once after disagreeing with Amu and not returned.
What was the need of Mausi character, why to stretch it long, where was Aji when Amruta was in dark phase when Virat was away.
And I hated that Bhavani, the women doesn't want to get divorce before Amu's marriage and now herself was pushing Amruta towards Shubh.
She was so gullible that she was making Amu understand Virat's trauma when he was in Goa and ask her to understand him, but when things were going right they were in love, Virat lost all his asset, she started showing interest in Shubh, like when back from Bank, she was asking her to sit beside Shubh and have conversation, how come. she was the one women who hesitated to ask grooms salary when Aji asked. she just wanted her daughter to be married , now she was the one pushing her, like not even once she tried to make Amruta and Virat understand, when they were doing fight drama.
I loved that when Babita showed that getting away from Virat, Amruta would be divorcee....
I hated Bhavani in the scene where she shouted at Babita, that dead do not come back and all she was so disrespectful, specially you are talking about the boy your daughter loves, he is your son in law, he was shot, while saving you. I mean Bhavani, was the lady who kept fast for her divorced husband but was unable to understand her daughter and her son in law is far better i mean best person with respect to her own husband.
Nobody i mean nobody ever tried to understand Amruta as Virat did. he is actually her home.
Overall i loved the story, they are actually mad for each other. this serial have some very beautifully directed scene.
I mean when she hugged Shubh and Virat felt bit jealous and insecure, because they were very basic stage of their love story and he was insecure, she understood and given him the best surprise.
I loved the scene of Priyanka's entry, where Amruta was hurt not jealous. and how Virat acknowledged it like didn't dismiss it.
I agree that he blabbered nonsense that you have called her but that is his character na, he doesn't think thorough, he is impulsive, the calmness in his life is due to Amruta's presence. He jumped with gun at Babita when he found that Babita took JK's house.
He married forcefully, but he never fully accepted the fact that Amruta could do such thing, yaar Mom is mom na, even it was difficult for Amruta to accept that Babita did such thing. Their seperation was such a big deal for Babita, when the have not even acknowledged the feelings to each other.
I loved how Dildaar didn't hesitate to show Virat his mistakes.
I didnt liked the repetitve kidnapping, like why make Rajeev so strong, bankrupt rajeev, and Priyanka.
When Rajeev was in jail and Priyanka died how come Manvi have a business that with Virat's/Ranveer's help they decided to avenge Ahujas.
They could have introduced Priyanka with Abhiraj, they left Abhiraj's story in middle and removed his character.
Rajeev almost killed Virat, the businessman of the year but he flees from the jail everytime. Somebody wrote that Nimmi should have killed Rajeev, i thought the same, but this should have happened earlier like why to stretch till 500 episodes.
I remember, that Akshra Naitik lovestory aired from 2009 to atleast 2016 like the kids teenagers, accident and all it was a lovestory right, but that also got a sad ending I do not wanted that. Pavitra Rishta, was better they showed their old age and final end.
So there were various aspects that could have been covered, like Amruta's career, Amruta's changing dynamics with her own family. Amruta and Virat as parents and all.
Overall i loved this series, why because they ended it on a good note AmVira with their happy ending and their sweet daughter. Amruta was not search her knight in shining armor, she needed a partner, same with Virat. I mean the completed each other.
I live story where the female have high EQ than the male. Male is impulsive, female is calm.
And atlast what a chemistry of Amruta and Virat our #AmVira (Arjit and Sriti).
I would love to see Arjit and Sriti in a good loving show as a romantic couple.......fingers crossed.
I appreciate Mukta, she tried to write a good strong independent female lead's lovestory with a fun to love guy
I liked Mukta didn't downplayed the female character and a rich obnoxious male lead.
I loved VSA and ABC
Amruta Bhavani Chitnis/ Amruta Ahuja and Virat Singh Ahuja is the best couple.
