@bold - Tired of that trope, honestly. I've experience in rooting on a certain couple and the makers pulled off a zabardasti maathe pe sindoor phenko shaadi on them in the name of angst. And after a couple of episodes the leads were okay with the quicker shaadi. A complete twist from the character development until that moment. It was quite a tough pill to swallow as an invested viewer.

One thing I'm liking with the way the track is progressing is that, there are many possibilities ahead and whatever the writers are proceeding with, there's this surprise element. There's this constant 'pata nahi aage kya kaand honewaala hai' feeling.

Bold... I dont think he is testing her but I do think he is misinterpreting her decision to stay back as something related to him. He doesn't know what Sunita said and that Mannat is planning to trap ARS.

He also knows Mannat is not the one to tolerate this abuse... so I am assuming he thinks it's for him she stayed back.

Pink is where he is not using his brains... this is exactly what would happen. But since probably he believes Mannat loves him he wants her to openly accept it whether it makes her a good digger in Neetu's eyes...

Whereas Mannat is operating on a completely different level and is unable to understand any of his hints. Primarily because he has not been able to say it properly but then goes ahead and proposed Malla which sounds like a mixed signal. Neither answers any questions regarding Malla.

Moor, just wondering.... That day, Sunita ran to both Mannat and Vikrant with the burns, na? Mannat did tell him that Sunita was just pretending to be her birth mom. So much has happened after that and Sunita died in a dramatic way. He did see how affected Mannat was at that. About Mannat, we know she's aware that ARS is behind Sunita's plight in the fire accident but Vikrant is not even shown wondering how did Sunita get into a fire accident or if that has anything to do with her posing of being Mannat's birth mom.

Plus, he totally forgot about the attack on Shruti maa at the hospital. Putting two and two together, it's obvious that the path to Mannat's birth mom is a field of bear trap. I hope he will join the dots if there'll be a track in the future where Vikrant takes interest to find the root of the dangers lurking around Mannat. It's sad and frustrating at some level that he's oblivious that Mannat has a target on her back. It's high time, other than the plan to make Mannat confess, he should be exposed to some hard truths. Kuch bhi chalega at this point for me. There's so much to be unravelled around him.
