People generally had their share of hate for Abhimanyu's character because of his actions on the WD, as similar to some people's hatred towards Akshara's action on that day. That was the main reason why some people accepted Abhinav and others can not.

Here the equation is absolutely different. Abhira didn't do anything that triggered Armaan's actions.. He was himself suffering from his insecurities and out of it took the major step... The reason is enough for everyone to sympathize with Abhira, but that absolutely doesn't mean that her and Abhimanyu's situation is same which is actually not.
