Dhruv: Punjab are a good team overall but they rely too much on their top order. The matches against KKR and RCB(Qualifier 1) have shown their vulnerability. Still, I think Shreyas will lead his team to victory.

I agree, but it doesn’t seem fair to me. Even teams like Delhi and LSG, who were playing well, lost a couple of games in the middle. League games are supposed to be for selection. Once teams have qualified for the quarter- and semi-finals, there should be a reserve day for rain-delayed matches (which would be fair to both teams).
Mumbai has been winning their last few matches — all in vain. 🤷♀️
Trust me, no amount of pre-preparation helps as much as last-minute revision
. I’m not saying you have to open your books before the day of the exam, but pre-exam preparation doesn’t make much of a difference—unless you’re appearing for some qualifying exams ( UPSC, JEE, etc ). Only in that case, last-minute studying won’t be of much help.

I think they created this rule so that the teams stay motivated to earn better position in points table. Atleast they have reserve day for final.
Ashwin: What happens if the game is washed out? Is there a reserve day? -- No reserve day for this game. If this game gets washed out, Punjab Kings will go through to the final as they finished on top of the points table.
Ashwin anna has learnt by heart all the rules
Intensity of the rain has come down but a few puddles have formed on the outfield. Drainage here is pretty good and that should be taken care of by the groundsmen. Looks like this is definitely going to be a curtailed game whenever it starts.

Makes sense. It’ll stop teams from slacking in the league games and start taking every game seriously.

Is this the player Ashwin or some other person?

Looks like there might be yet another downpour after some time. There’s half a chance that Mumbai will not be qualified today. RCB will be super happy
