mmmhhh... Jeetu didn't make a Drishyam 3 with Mohanlal (yet)... so, Ajay's film may have an original script with - probably - the mother (Meera) still pursuing the father (Vijay) and his family.

The Hindi versions had been quite good but I preferred the original Malayalam ones.

Drishyam 3 (Malayalam version) is releasing in theaters on Aug 16th 2025. No wonder the Hindi version is slated to start shooting in AUG 2025. They'll probably get the rights once the Malayalam version releases.

Yes, it is a scene by scene copy.

Thankfully it is well done though.

I still prefer the Malayalam version because ofcourse it's THE MOHANLAL and as Georgekutty, he was just so amazing!

Ajay didn't disappoint either. He's been perfect as Vijay Salgaonkar!

That said, the star cast in both versions have been really good.

So yeah, I end up watching both versions always.
