I know some people can't accept people concentrating on their personal life and a thriving brand since almost all your faves are flops and in their miserable marriages. Katrina stopped accepting movies after she got married, she spending more time with her husband, most likely trying for a baby and expanding her huge brand global.
I agree. An actress’s life span is limited in acting career anyway. Katrina was extremely popular during the mid 2000s and has tasted super stardom, but the fact remains that she was never a good actress and mostly relied on her looks and body to thrive, which worked at that time but now she has gone overboard on all that Botox hence ruining her face in the process, and she anyway lacks the talent to perform convincingly in any kind of role onscreen, I mean she can give a decent performance here and there but that alone ain’t enough. Looks fade but your talent stays with you.Katrina can no longer do the glam roles she used to. She has ruined her face with all the botox. She won't be considered for dancing roles also as now there are better dancers like Nora, Jacqueline or Disha. Whether people agree or not Katrina did have Salman's backing for many years. Her last somewhat successful movie was Tiger 3 with Salman. Shahrukh also gives Deepika flower pot roles in his movies but doesn't consider Katrina for anything. Now Salman himself is struggling with his movies flopping badly and is in no position to offer her anything.
Katrina in her prime days would have never considered someone like Vicky as a life partner. Vicky is doing well, he can act well and has a decent family background. May be now she wants to start a family and give up acting. Anyway her Kaybeauty is doing well.
Katrina was good enough in what she brought on screen and she attracted audiences. She may have said good bye to working on sets but certainly not to working. She is intelligent and grounded enough to not look back but forward ... and personally, I still like to (re-)watch certain movies with her (and wish her all the best in her private and professional life) 
Wow, I must say I am highly impressed with Jennifer Lopez in a sari. She looks stunning in her 50's, even more beautiful than overrated...
