yeah, they did depict the concept of making hanuman curious about his aradhya but its still too dragged because wasn't the curse supposed to be paving the way into his adulthood when he meets Lord Rama?
that curse needs to be shown by now
hanuman is aware that he's supposed to meet his aradhya but the way makers are doing it is like hide-and-seek lol
this seems to be the second hanuman show that sony & makers are just elongating the childhood phase lol
The entire concept of a being having a specific 'Aradhya' was totally weird...
As of we can't worship diverse deities...
From what I know, the curse wasn't instrumental in Hanuman meeting Rama. The meeting would have happened regardless of the curse. Hanuman was cursed because the kid became a menace after receiving so many boons. As a child, he barely understood the gravity of his actions (and also, there a ton of mischief associated with his race) and caused so much trouble to sages that they had to curse him but restrained themselves because he was just a boy. Hence the curse of forgetting his powers until he actually needs them (probably they were worried that he'd become a menace again if he remembered before being mature enough to understand responsibility). I think it was after the curse he lost interest in all worldly things (this and his wisdom and education was phenomenal).
Show makers make a big deal of Hanuman meeting Rama during childhood when it never happened. Hanuman's devotion grew and deepened after their first meeting at Rishyamukha Mountain as he got to know Rama more and more. There is such a wonderful beauty in this relationship and there's no crying need to have extra fittings to enforce fate or make one great or childish unnecessarily.
The first show had such a long childhood phase that I had to drop the show... I did watch the Ramayan parts after the show ended. Nothing against the cast but the story was just too bizzare.
This show also has so many crazy stories and twisted characters.
They have to show the curse. I just hope they won't twist the story too much.
yeah, maybe i shouldve worded it better that those powers will come into use when he aids rama in the war and remain buried till he doesn't have a proper iota of them..but right now, makers aren't even depicting mahadev and devi parvati discussing about this premonition...right now, too much focus on unnecessary stuff...Originally posted by: Vibhishna

their bond got much better when they met as adults..first hanuman show just gained so much notoriety for elongating the balkand, that the interest waned down to even watch the adulthood phase and ramayana bits & pieces..

Too much focus on unnecessary stuff is the very definition of this series... Maybe a Swastik trait
Saw yesterday's episode
Hanuman manages to save Kesari and everyone praises Kesari and Hanuman while Vali is upset. The family reunion was great to watch,it was beautiful.
I missed the part where Kesari got toasted/poisoned. I also missed the part where Hanuman realises his Aradhya is Rama. He keeps chanting the name. I totally didn't understand the conversation between Lord Shiva and Shani Deva, no idea what the latter is trying to do.
Maybe I should seek these out but the very thought of sifting the unnecessary fanciful stuff seems cumbersome.

Promo still is of shani dev getting beaten up
Which book has this story of Shani dev beaten up as if he is meghu
Seriously unnecessary stuff is added
Maybe makers shd close the shutter on this show
Research and come back again properly
All nonsense stuff
Atleast smr had some interesting stories barring that Harry Potter reference and all funny asurs
I wish now ghaghra boy makes appearance
Or maybe he has come as one asur but can't recognise bcoz of weird make ups

I don't know how much of smr u saw
But the fantasy stories reminded us of Harry Potter stories
And one asur he had costume of ghaghra
So we nicknamed him ghaghra boy
Was always getting beaten up
Now I forgot what was that asur name also
Ya banasur
Oh we nicknamed every asur there
😄😄

There are tales of a confrontation between Shani Deva and Hanuman but it wasn't a first fight. Shani wanted exert his influence on Hanuman but couldn't. The account of what exactly happened varies a lot but it was asking to someone running into a wall and walking away limping and these tales state that Shani Deva promised not to harm Hanuman or his devotees after that. The incident happened well after the war and definitely not during Hanuman's childhood.
As for Ghaghra boy... haven't seen/detected him so far. It certainly is possible that he has appeared as a random asura or vanara... Or Deva...? By the way, does anyone know his real name?
Sorry for the delay , here's the new thread
