100% right. Ghum makers and their story lines aren't deserving to be taken this seriously. They write nonsense chasing trp. Neil Tejaswini didn't bring required trp for 8.00 pm slot. They brought bhavika as a last ditch attempt but doesn't seem to be working.

Since they were moving on from the story, Tejaswini and Neil might have realized their mistakes. Else they would have been repeating the same mistakes till the end of the season

Why you make such a long post on this smiley37smiley37....Each person entitled to their own opinion...Savi's character imaginary 🤔...Savi was there for a long time in the series ...Teju had a very short time , developed in to nothing g " makers " just killed the character...

smiley36....Any ways every thing is " temporary this Savi too will disappear soon"....

Again, you missed the nuance. I made the post because that member dismissed and threw shade over the S4 viewers. I defended our stand. I made that post not because I'm crying over Teju now. I remember her as a memorable character that's it. I can't cry over spoilt milk, can I?

I have interacted with some of the members here and they seemed like understand Savi's complexity and appreciated the character.

But now ever since this rebooted or whatever crap version has started, they are disregarding even the good things happening in the earlier season and making faults of Savi as of she was the worst FL possible.

I have nothing against the actors. I genuinely wish the best for them whether it is Vaibhabhi, Bhavika or Param.

But let's be honest, nothing set Teju apart as some of the S4 fans claim to degrade Savi. She did nothing significant. And nor was Neil any better character.

If Hitesh was available, the makers would waste no time in scraping this season.

Unfortunately Bhavika was available and they have merged both the storylines in the worst way possible.

As much as I hate the makers, I despise the fans' hypocrisy even more.

I can only speak for myself. I didn't change my opinion. I supported Neil most of the times. I clearly remember a lot of people criticised his behaviour on this forum when he went to Juhi's house for the very first time. Many people said his behaviour was very disrespectful towards Juhi. But I defended him at that time. I could connect to his character. I said that it's very difficult for a person to smile and talk to a girl/guy normally in an arranged marriage scenario if that person feel completely disinterested. That's why he didn't talk to Juhi. As far as I remember, I only criticised Neil when he defended Mohit's bigamy. But this type of things happen when we respect someone greatly. We can't tolerate hearing negative words about that person. You think Neil wasn't a green flag and that's fine because you're entitled to your opinion. But I think he was a green flag because he was soft-hearted, mature, understanding and empathetic. Most importantly, he used to respect Tejaswini unlike some other toxic male leads of ITV. He never humiliated her when she was alive. I also criticised Tejaswini when she went to meet RR alone in a different city. It was sheer stupidity and she shouldn't have lied to her parents. But that doesn't mean I dislike Tejaswini. People have both strengths and weaknesses. Nobody can be perfect. I didn't like the forced marriage trope and bride swapping trope. Yes, Neil shouldn't have agreed to marry when he knew Tejaswini didn't love her. But a lot of people become selfish when it comes to love.

As far as Savi is concerned, I never criticised her. Without knowing someone, I don't criticise. That's not my nature. I only criticise something when I have enough knowledge about that. I don't know anything about Savi because I never watched previous seasons. I know some people make fun of her on this forum. But she's only a fictional character. If someone makes fun of her, that doesn't mean that person is insulting a real human being. Those fun posts were created to make other people laugh.

I'm so sorry to jump in the midst of a conversation but this is so glaring that I have to point out.

I don't think anyone, be it the previous viewers or the new viewers, are bashing Savi's character from the previous seasons. We have not even watched those seasons so why on earth would we comment on that? We are bashing Savi who was injected into this season forcefully. You too agree that her character is butchered to the core. So I don't know what kind of hypocrisy you're talking about when it's clearly you who is giving backhanded comments for the Season 4 fans and the characters, saying they weren't as good as people are making out to be. You didn't like them, fine. But you don't really have the right to point our liking as "out of the blue" or "unnecessary".

We got to know about Savi and started making fun of her only after this makeover in the story took place. You seem to have polished opinions but they're nothing but indirect attacks on us who liked Tejaswini's story. Also, the point you're making about our changed opinions about Tejaswini and Neil is just baseless. Yes, we had criticized the actions of Neil and Tejaswini when the story was on air. That was the storyline and we absolutely criticised it because we had some brain-cells. However, we also witnessed the gradual change in their personalities and therefore, we were hoping that this change would lead to a redemption arc for the characters which obviously couldn't happen because of the makers. They weren't given as much time as they should've been given, unlike the previous whatever seasons you seem to be defending with all your might.

That's our only complaint: lack of interest and less time given by the channel and the makers since they had potential. I won't care about what you say for this statement since you seem to have a biased outlook towards this whole matter, even if you deny doing so.

So this entire point about us being "hypocritical", was just us being sane viewers going along with the ups and downs of the storyline and getting disappointed when it was abruptly cut short. I cannot have the same opinion about a story or a character throughout the course of the show blindly (I don't have blind allegiance to a character), unlike your constantly fanatic opinions over your previous Savi. I don't incessantly defend Neil or Tejaswini like they never did wrong just because I like them. That's not hypocrisy, that's having an errorless judgement of character. Unlike your unwavering opinions about the previous Savi.

I criticised and appreciated Neil and Tejaswini when they made mistakes and when they stood for the right respectively. That's not hypocrisy, that's viewing the show through different and evolving situations and perspectives.

However, you seem to be equating any shift/divergence of opinion from your own towards the said character/seasons as an act of double-standards.

We are not even bashing the viewers who liked Savi from previous seasons. We're bashing those who're defending her actions and her character in this stupid plot twist. However, you seem to be incessantly disliking and diminishing all other characters apart from your old Savi as if she was a legendary character. You seem to be constantly throwing shade on Tejaswini's story and season 4 viewers, and for your kind information we're not doing the same to the previous season fans the other way round.

You're just pointing out the fallacies in this season as if your favourite character's seasons were class apart. Come on, no one's buying that on ITV, some copied story and character that too from the Ganja makers is exceptionally wonderful, different, empowered and refreshing. It's hilarious to see that it's actually you who's trying to imply that Savi's character was "the best to be bestowed upon mankind". smiley37 No one said that about Tejaswini actually. You just had a strawman argument.

I'm sorry to point this out, but in this entire nonsensical spectacle, you're the one coming across as a hypocrite and a hater.

It seems to me you are more addicted to reply to any comment I make and then analyze it to prove how S4 fans are amazing is stronger than the Ganja the makers are taking these days. 🤣 🤣 🤣

Just like Ganja are wasting their money on producing and destroying this show, go ahead, waste your time, analyze my comments to satisfy your high opinion of your unbiased nature and then write another essay how you'd leave the forum for hypocritical people and come back again due to fans' demand. 😉😉😉

Damn! You still talking and throwing shade since you got called out? 🤣

Jahan aam samajh ki kami ho,

Wahan dimaag valon ko na chahte hue bhi aana padta hai dost,

Aapka public demand nahi hai toh itna kya jalna?

Sab toh roz dekhne aate hain yahan humara roast!

Also, don't worry about my time being wasted, dear. I probably have more time on hand honing my humour quotient and debating skills and rhetoric (because practising humour and criticism for a Literature student does not discriminate between society and Ganja) than you trying to make sense of and finding complexity in your favourite character.

Of course, I am extremely proud of my humour, wit, my analytical and way more open-hearted mindset and won't be backing down from trolling your favourite character. Your attempt to steer the discussion away from yourself and your insidious comments to a personal, undignified attack on me from your side is successful so be happy. Keep writing, lamenting and crying about how complex, deep and beautiful your Savi was and how she was butchered by Ganja. Have fun! And let others have fun for goodness' sake. 😂🙏🏻

Sathya didn't break Sai & Virat destroyed their marriage ...Sai & Sathya got married with different intention , Sai wanted Vinu's family together , Sathya wanted his mother's wish to complete. ...So technically every one had their on motives ....Sathya was actually a very good man who let Sai move on, requested Virat to propose Sai again...if not biased Sathya comes out as a very good person at the end ...

Sathya may bot be strong like Sai or Vrat but he genuinely loved Sai , Savi & Vinu ...It was heart warming to see Savi calling " Sattu uncle"...

It’s not like I had a good opinion of pre-surrogacy Virat, but he was an ITV product, so I had zero expectations. During and post-surrogacy, he exceeded even the ITV standards of ghatiyapana and straight-up became unbearable.

Satya treated Savi better than Virat ever did. Their bond was cute. At least he didn’t use his daughter like a prop to emotionally blackmail or gaslight Sai.

I’m sorry, I’m not a fan, if you haven’t guessed by now. I don’t like a single character in Ghum enough to support (up until season 2), but Vada boy stands at the top of the list of characters I would love to punch in the face.
