Dismissal Twice in a Session:
It's rarer, but a batsman can also be dismissed twice within the same session (a two-hour period of play) of a match.
Dinesh Chandimal, a Sri Lankan batsman, was famously dismissed twice in the same session during a Test match against Australia in February 2025.
Kane Williamson, a New Zealand batsman, also experienced a rare difficult day getting out twice within four hours in the second Test against Sri Lanka in 2024.
