Threatening people for sympathizing?? Seriously?? Thats not just a joke, its desperation. Or are you really that obsessed with policing what others feel just to push your narrative??

Whether you get banned or not, whether you support converts or not, irrelevant. The only issue is you parading around asking, Why are you sympathizing with them?? Like, who asked you?? I never tagged you. I didnt write a post begging for your opinion. But you?? You came running, mocking me, unprovoked. That says everything.

And about being 12 and immature, take a good look in the mirror. Getting banned from forums, creating fake accounts just to keep spreading your bitter nonsense, constantly mocking people and being rude for no reason?? Forget 12, you havent even graduated from playground tantrums.

Brothers while you are arguing I feel you are closer on the same topic than apart.

Raj is correct. People do convert out of necessity (not all). From basic living to some even getting opportunities offered such as going abroad as Christian missionary greener pastures out west). I have seen this in Kerala. It doesn’t make it right. The government is not able to provide all the free stuff to the people on the road etc. And when you are in that bad of a situation, poverty drives decision with no roofs and constant hunger.

Jumpin you are correct. It’s a horrible way to convert and the conversion process. They are not offering free charity just to help. They are doing it in a horrible way in manners you suggest.

Truth is, both of you are right in your own way that you would rather not see conversions Halle. Worst are the non economic reasons such as love jihad and what not.

I don’t know why the arguments :).when both agree conversions are a bad thing.

Raj - the warnings and bans are happening because certain set of people seem to have unexplained privileges of attacking us and getting our topics locked. If you read their posts you start wondering why are they not banned is what I think Jack is trying to say.

it seems you are used to this. I am not. And hence it can be shocking. Since one assumes one is talking on a place called India forums and not Pakistani forums or Muslim league forums where they are unable to even say the words “Islamic terrorism”. nothing we can do about that.

So tell me how I mocked you???

If you are debating over an issue in a public forum, there will be people who won't necessarily agree with you on all your points...why do you have to then make it a personal issue???

You are only seen sympathizing with converts and blaming uppercaste for the discrimination to be the primary reason for their greediness without ever thinking how dangerous these converts could be once they reach certain numbers.

Demographic change is more serious issue than the so called non existent friction between upper class n lower class especially when the faultline is actually slowly disappearing.

You questioned my credibility when I said I don't discriminate them..

Ab sabka apna apna experience hai. You have first hand experience how your family members treated your lowercaste and you have formed your opinion based on your personal experience bit doesn't necessarily have to be the same for everyone.

If i feel my surrounding is pretty progressive in this matter and I haven't seen anybody mistreat those poor folks why should I take blame for the atrocities you family or others may have committed on lowercase?

You might wanna work harder around your personal space to make people aware about the issue which is so close to your heart. Maybe you can instill some values on them to treat everyone equally.

But first thing first apne hi ghar se shuru karna padega tabhi Jake doosro ko samza paoge.

Pouncing on others on internet for not sharing your feelings wont bring about the change.

You simply can not accept even a slightly contrarian view and immediately threaten to silence me...I wonder how flexible you are in real life to adjust on the caste lines also knowing you are the one opposing reservation and other benefits to lower castes.

Beaides, you haven't even once given the solution asto how to fix the problem except for blaming uppercaste hindus

On the contrary you want to take away reservation which is there to their benefit.

Despite you are claiming to be the sympathizer of lower caste on here (sorry..May bad... sympathizer of converted lower caste)

A well wishesr of lower caste who wants to remove reservations from edu n jobs.

Yiu relaise how you arwe contradicting your own stand here??

Internet pe gyaan pelna sabko aata hai..yeh sab activism kehne ke liye achcha hai. Real life mein sab agar apne aaspaas ka dekhein toh bahot kuch badal sakta hai...bina dikhawa kiye.

Reservation hatana hai because it's not beneficial to you toh phir yeh naam ka activism kyu???

Agar doosre log apni soche toh woh discrimination hai par agar tum khudmatlab ki soche toh woh sahi...

Aise kaise????smiley36

First of all, who are you to tell me to stop sympathizing with someone?? Did i show up at your doorstep and beg for your approval?? No?? Then sit down. Just because you feel a certain way doesnt mean the whole world has to follow your lead. Stop shoving your opinions down people’s throats, keep that superiority complex to yourself. Im not out here forcing you to feel anything, so you have got zero right to tell me what i should or shouldnt feel. Thats not just annoying, its straight up disrespectful.

Now lets talk about you asking me when did i mocked you?? calling me immature or 12, wasnt that mocking itself?? Resorting to childish mockery when you have got nothing solid to say?? Who started the insults here?? Not me. But you seem real proud of being the first one to act like a middle school bully.

Im here having a public discussion like everyone else, exchanging opinions respectfully. Ask anyone, i have never dismissed anyone’s views unless they came at me sideways. And thats exactly what you did. Your problem isnt that i disagreed with you, its that i didnt back down when you tried to talk down to me. You being banned from BWF and crawling back with another ID just to spew hate says everything about your credibility.

And dont even try lecturing me about values. My own family have discriminated based on caste divisions and i have stood up to them too. I dont need moral lessons from someone who cant even handle a difference in opinion without throwing a tantrum.

Congrats, your neighborhood is progressive. Guess what?? Mine isnt. Thats the reality. So no, your little bubble doesnt erase the fact that caste discrimination is still alive and kicking in plenty of places. You trying to paint the whole country with your personal experience??

As for pouncing on others, look in the damn mirror. Who jumped into my post uninvited just because my views didnt match yours?? I didnt tag you, i didnt ask for your input and yet here you are acting like i owed you agreement. Its laughable that you are playing the victim now when you were the one who came charging in with unsolicited judgment.

And dont even start with you cant handle a contrarian view. Thats rich, coming from someone who flips out the moment someone disagrees with them. You started this mess, dont play innocent now.

Yes, i have questioned caste based reservation but unlike you, i also proposed an actual solution, scrap the caste system entirely and give reservation based on economic status. But you conveniently ignored that, didnt you?? Selective reading at its finest. Before you twist my words again, go back and read my full point instead of cherry picking lines that fit your fragile narrative.

You really out here trying to act smart while showing off your Olympic level mental gymnastics. I have made it clear, demolish caste based divisions and base support on need not birth. If there are no castes, there is no contradiction. So try harder if you are gonna accuse me of hypocrisy, because right now, its just embarrassing.

Bro i never disagreed with his comment. Missionaries are evil, they often push conversions for their own benefit. I also agree that unchecked conversions can be dangerous, especially when they begin to affect the demographic balance. Thats why im firmly against religious conversion and dont want anyone to convert.

But to truly address this issue, we need to tackle its root cause. As a society, we must eliminate caste based discrimination and the reservation system that reinforces it. Only then will people stop feeling alienated and missionaries wont have the opportunity to exploit those divisions to convert our people.

Every religion has had regressive practices that needed reform to keep up with the times, for the progress of the religion itself, humanity and the nation. Hinduism is no exception. However compared to the other two major religions, we have relatively fewer such practices. Today the main issue holding us back is casteism. That one problem alone is enough to hinder national progress. If we cant overcome it, how can we truly move forward?

Thankfully many harmful practices like sati pratha and bal vivah, even though they werent part of our scriptures, have been abolished. Our community recognized the need for change and embraced reforms, and thats something to be proud of.

Thats why we must continue to introspect. We need to acknowledge and eliminate the remaining problems within our religion. Just like we discussed this morning about the issues our country is facing and how they need to be addressed, we also need to openly talk about what needs to change within our religion. Honestly apart from casteism, i dont see any other major regressive practice left. If we fix that, our religion is nearly perfect.

As for what happened in BWF, I dont know why he was banned or got warnings but if he continues with that kind of attitude, its only natural for people to assume his behavior was the reason behind it.

yes. Casteism is an issue and till last LS election I thought we were making progress but it seems to be centerpiece of INC agenda. It’s one of the most regressive practices that needs to be tackled especially in non Urban areas. And thank god bal Vivah and sati were abolished. Sadly I have seen videos of so many Imams justifying horrific acts with minors in their religion and there are tons of them in India too so one should not forget that

As for BWF, I just faced the same issue last few days so I completely understand where he is coming from. They just attack you on anything pro India 🇮🇳 or factts you present and no action is being taken against any of them.

@bold Thats why im very proud of hinduism as it has always welcomed reforms for the progress of the nation, the religion and humanity unlike certain religion that is still stuck in the stone age. I have hope in our people that the caste system will also be abolished very soon.
