Yeah, also I think they wanted to start from a clean slate and didn't want acchi aurat to have any past/baggage so that they can mold her anyway they want and get rid of her if the track doesn't bring trps. With ruhi that wouldn't have been possible because she would always have a connection to Ab and also poddars.
