Mamu filmography is full of remake of international movies and many are hits.

Well it depends if original is watched by many or not, e.g most didn't watch shaitan orginal as it was small movie so shaitan turned out hit , Akshay sarfire original soorai pottru was hit on streaming so people didn't watch Akshay sarfira.

However drishyam is blockbuster in both original and remake.

So it's a game of luck.

There will be no surprises but a different treatment of the same story the Spanish original movie already showed. So, if one watches the US-remake Champions why not also watch the Indian-made one? I certainly will watch it just to see the differences.

I had also tried to watch LSC (Forrest Gump remake) but then couldn't stand Aamir's facial expressions (the eyes) and had to stop (like I had to stop to watch PK because of that).

Boycotting his movie because Aamir is Muslim is catering to the deviding done in the country itself.

Ye remake shemake ka r-rona bas internet/social media pe shaana banne waalon ko karna hota hai. Baaki general public mein kisi koi padi nahi hai. Picture theek lagi toh chalegi, warna nahi chalegi. Koi jaake hollywood ya spainwood ki film nahi dekhega.
