Abt brahmaputra river yeah In China thy call it tsang po..they're making a dam on tht river..so India and Bangladesh will get less water..
But do we really need that much I mean Assam mei sabse zyada rainfall hota hai
Yeah China has been building the Medog Hydropower Dam on the Brahmaputra since last year. Its located at the Great Bend in Medog and is set to become one of the most expensive projects in the world, nearly three times bigger than their own Three Gorges Dam.
Although China has assured us that it wont exploit the project and has even agreed to share data for transparency and even after that they were to restrict water flow, Assam’s heavy rainfall would still be enough to compensate. Rainfall and other tributaries in the region contribute nearly 65% of the Brahmaputra’s water within India.
However, the country that would be most affected is Bangladesh, ironically China’s new ally. If India were to restrict water flow to Bangladesh in the same way China might to India, it would be Bangladesh that suffers the most.
