Mannat had found his truth earlier... but she was hiding it. He decides to propose to her which Malla gets to know.. so she reaches the spot and blurts out the truth. Vikrant is heart broken that out of all people Mannat hid the truth from her. He distances himself from everyone and starts living with a friend.

Malla parents are heading for a divorce and she too shifts to this place with Vik soon. This status quo is maintained for few days with everyone trying to mend things with Vikrant but he is too upset.

Also earlier to this, in another attempt to trap Mannat, Malla has made false documents and Mannat is in jail for financial fraud. Her bio father enters here and brings her out later.

Mallas kaand actually happens when Mannat is in jail.

I've been catching up on the discussions here. Last episode was truly a visual treat. I thought the plentiful of BTS clips we were blessed with would spoil the episode. But the episode was beautifully crafted. Loved every bit of it.

Manvik were hot....hoshiyaar. The whole sequence at the wedding waala ghar seemed like straight out of our khayali pulaavs..

Years back, it was a stormy night accompanied with thunder and lightning. Sonia Khanna was challenging the fate. There were baby Mannat and little Vikrant, in the middle of nowhere. That day, little Vikrant became the "Babaji Ka Banda" of baby Mannat.

Now, it's also one such stormy night accompanied with thunder and lightning. Sonia Khanna is still challenging, playing cat and mouse with the fate. There is Mannat and Vikrant, in the middle of nowhere. One injured and the other traumatized. Now, it's Mannat's turn to be the "Babaji Ka Banda" for Vikrant and for herself.

And for that, she has to uproot the very last shred of the trauma Sonia Khanna has unknowingly instilled in her. It's truly a defining moment for Mannat as a character.

It's beautiful when thinking about how the makers drew such parallels.

I wrote some for Mannats pichla janam... but it was my first attempt at Fanfics... I wrote primarily on how I wanted the situation to happen...

I had one in mind for when Vikrant gets to know about attack on Shalini and he worries for Mannats safety. But then couldn't write it the way I wanted.
