WAVES 2025 also features a cultural segment with Indian and international performances, underscoring the role of media and entertainment in promoting cultural exchange and mutual understanding.

The World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) kicked off today (May 1) at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, bringing together over 100 artists, investors, and policymakers from around the world to celebrate and shape the future of creativity.

With over 10,000 delegates, 1000 creators, 300 companies, 350 startups and leaders from over 90 countries under one roof, this summit is momentous

This 'summit ' was nothing but another PR event for event for Namo where he has co-opted movie stars . Calling it a summit , throwing the word World in and acting like its something of significance isn't going to fool anyone other that those who are already on the koolaid. . Orange Economy ? Really ? If that's how subtle you're gonna be I'm sure " C(_)nt-End " Creation is going to be taken to great heights. That they played videos of the Pahalgam attacks to praise namo alone should tell you what this is about.

Kriti fans asking her to retire..as according to them she shows little interest in her career and is more interested in her BF. Kiara was doing multiple films.If she wanted she could have taken enough precautions..so many crores riding on her.Deepika,casually saying that her baby is now her priority.

BW is truly in the dumps.Janhvi may not wait so late that she would have to be a second wife to a married man like her mom and other 80's stars who married divorcees(or be sent away to lead dreary lives in the USA.) Ananya is there.. floating around.

Alia wants her own film..she doesn't need anyone else..and neither do others need her.She will continue her woman oriented films..and with her husband ofcourse..which she says she is producing.

Deepika is the parent of an infant . The child should be her priority ,and her husband's. Kiara is 33 and Siddharth is 40. If they want to start a family now is the time . I'm sure they've figured out how to make it work without letting it get in the way of her movies . Pregnancy after 35 can be a gamble for some women. Kriti's fans should go to hell with those kind of comments. How she manages her work and love life is entirely up to her. Nobody gets to tell her to retire. Looks like it's got more to do with the guy's age than her staying away from films.

How many women were present at the waves summit? It was mainly about entertainment. yet 1 percent representation including Shahid's wife.

I think Sara came for Saif..rest just skipped. I forgot, Shraddha is also looking to slow down. Of course you can argue,that Heroes don't need female co-stars. But the ladies have many options too,to remain rich and famous. In the last 2 decades they have become smarter. Instagram and SM is such a blessing for them.
