I get that keeping ARSs secret is needed for the story... but from the BTS we also know that he thanks her and hugs her... which was not needed!!!! he could have shown some doubt as to why she kept it under wraps all along... and why did Mannat needed to get hurt for it to come out? ARs will still be able to manipulate him since he doesnt know the truth of her.

Mannat is ofcourse not going to tell him either.... so he might always be the naive guy when it comes to ARS.

Yes yes on everything you wrote, especially bold, thanking was too much and looks like there is indeed a scene at home of ARS manipulating everyone at home and Vikrant. Saw some BTS where Adnan tells, ARS explains she had to side with the truth .

How can a businessman be shown so blind to the happenings considering his whole family/friends all just hid such a huge crime , supported a criminal openly in court

It was not odd... if you observe her through the entire court scene... she was not happy... making faces at the proceedings....
