I have not seen both the shows and the entire scenes.. but I knew this was popular in those days.. and it looks like the makers too glorified such things, and made the FL forgive ML too easily. But such things although is repeated now, some audiences have moved onto web series, foreign dramas. So that's what we can do.. move on.. rather than lament why such things are glorified.

Yes, IPKKND's forced marriage was far better than IB. You guess right, writers handled that regressive track of IB much better way than useless writers of kmtmg.Anika had nothing holding her back,she was orphan(I actually forgot but most probably),so it was easy for her to flee awayActually dumb writers of our serial wanted to mix some serials force marriage scenes(such as 4 pheras from Madhubala, blackmailing her like IPKKND but aggressive like Shivaay)but ended up with messing which they didn't rectify because of some delusional fans.Tbh our serial's writers actually don't know what to write but some time I really feel so surprise and shock that same writers wrote their lohri conversation episode.

They don't care about mela but pool episode🙃they were in trauma for many days
