In some ways, I get why Laila is so disgusted with Bilal. He knew from the onset that she didn't want this marriage. They had an agreement where he was to say 'no' so that she doesn't get the pressure of saying 'no'. Laila's stupidity was thinking of this plan and instead she should have said 'no' from the start.

However, she trusted Bilal and felt he would do right by her as they had a childhood friendship. She expected him to honour their agreement. However, he didn't protect her and chose to to protect Zara instead thereby trapping her. So it wasn't much of a gentleman on his part.

Now, he can give her talaq and end this mess. However, again, he chose to protect Zara all these years and refused to leave.

Instead, he left the onus on Laila which means she will be labelled as the bad woman who dared to seek divorce. She becomes the aggressor and therefore will be labeled accordingly in society.

If she were to receive the divorce as talaq, that would likely give her more options socially. So again, he is not doing much to protect her and is leaving her in a lurch.

Hence, there is a lot of anger on her part towards Bilal because she wants him to be her knight and he is not playing that part.

When he does seek divorce, it will be upsetting to her because he will not be protecting her. Instead, he will be protecting someone else (maybe Emaan) and that will only make her look even more pathetic. For Laila, self-respect, honour and dignity is most important and he is not doing enough to give her any of those.

And yea, the age difference between the two characters does really reflect their interactions. Ahad found her cute and pandered to her whims. He didn't get annoyed with her when she called so many times during the funeral. Bilal on other hand shows signs of exasperation. So yea, not feeling any romantic vibes even if some sections of the audience see them. 🤷

That said, if there should be a romance between Bilal and Emaan, I want the writer to do the work of convincing the audience. Don't want it to be random pairing. The girl's reputation has gone down and she can barely leave the house.

There isn't much age gap between the 2 in the drama. He is just 4-5 years older than her. If he can marry a young girl like Laila, he can also marry Emaan. So this is not an issue for the audience. Also, he won't develop any romantic feelings for Emaan as long as he is married to Laila, and if he develops feelings, then he won't express them to Emaan like Taimoor did. He'll be a silent lover then. So there is no chance of EMA.

Yeah. If you look by the marriage scene Ahad asked Laila to look back and think of her decision because he had doubts if Bilal will say yes. But Laila was so confident he will say so. She blindly trusted him. Also you don't trust someone so blindly. she must have shared really good bond with Bialal in the past to blindly trust him. To some extent Bilal is responsible for the rude toxic Laila is right now. Also if he gives Talaaq to her now it will most likely also because Zara will realise Taimoor is not good for her and for me it will again be selfishness from his side if that happens.

Yeah. What you say makes sense. Anyway I am not interested in Emaan and Bilal so if they want to go to that route I am giving up on this show.

Only tiny hope I have is because they haven't made Ahad negative maybe there is still chance of Ahad and Emaan. I just hope Ahad doesn't die in the show.He isnt even in the poster so I have my doubts about it too.

Silent lovers (who are married) give me more of an ick in PTV dramas. 🤷

Rest assured he won't be a silent lover in the entire rest of the drama if he ever becomes that. He'll eventually make the decision whether to live with Laila for the rest of his life or divorce her. If he decides to live with Laila, then he'll forget Emaan, but he'll never express his feelings to Emaan as long as he is married because he is not like Taimoor.

Not watching this show anymore but I saw this comment so thought to share this 😂

There is a scene in ost or promo, Laila blackmails Bilal to say NO for their marriage otherwise she will cut her vein so reluctantly he agrees with her for saying NO.

Oh yeah I know about that when Laila is wearing black dress or something right 😅? I wasn't bringing that up because they haven't shown it in the actual episode so I assume they removed it or maybe they will bring it later. Laila basically blackmailed him and trusted him and it still backfired 🤣🤣. I think Bilal also knew she won't kill herself so said yes to marriage 🤣

Laila isn't a completely good charcter herself but still I like her more than Emaan though they recently butchered her to some extent. Also their marriage scenes was actually well executed and well written where we could see why Laila behaves the way and so does Bilal and vice versa and we could see grey shades of both characters. otherwise most love hate marriage are badly executed in ptv

I also don't watch the show but come here to discuss mostly about Bilal and Laila which is sinking and sinking and no chance of survival 🤣. Anyway if it doesn't happen I will just imagine laila and Bilal patched up and then liver Happily afterwards and Emaan was not really there.

Yes. However, that is not what I find creepy. Basically there is no difference in depiction between the villain or the silent lover married hero in some of these dramas I watched. They both do the same exact thing -- creeping around, stalking, crossing weird boundaries, trying to influence her decision around etc etc. However, when the villain does it, we get creepy music but when this guy does it, we are supposed to see it as love. Both of these type of characters are married. So what makes one better than the other? smiley44

Silent lovers don't cross boundaries. They don't do things like Taimoor did. And if silent lover's wife doesn't love him, then that's not cheating. It will be called cheating only if his wife loves him & he still think about other girl.
