No they are not just filler scenes. Again let's agree to disagree. Without any reason they wouldn't have introduced the triangle and given Abhir so much importance which Naksh and Kairav never got earlier.

I can’t say what is affecting the TRP. We can only guess. No one here can say that they know what affects TRP.
