I don't think every show has to be deep
I liked the fact that this show wasn't deep but it had many emotional points and scenes which made it such a global hit
If the writing was indeed so weak , then it wouldn't have been such a hit
In every show there was useless side characters
This show was no exception
It had many good scenes relationships which connected with us without any skinship like Tere Bin or iqtidar

Lizzie and Mr Darcy, THE OTP of all-time …Talha has so much of Darcy in him …arrogant and yet much misunderstood …although Roshi is not Lizzie, she is spunky too and lights up Talha’s depressingly dark world …can’t wait to watch the last two episodes …but terribly sad their story will come to an end tomorrow
