The reason I relate to arjun and not sayali is she is way too fictional and we can not relate to her at all. I find sometimes she has split personality kadhi murkha kadhi smart

To tell the truth, i don't know meaning of lochatpana.

But with due respect to everyone when a girl marries in the joint family, it is expected that some will like her some hate her, some will try to find faults in her everytime. But the solution is NOT to break the family. It's the beauty of family the relationship made after marriage are only developed through heart and strengthen by constant nurturing with care and love only.

If each member of the family just think of their own self and show no concern to elders of the family then the coming generation will see increase in divorce cases only.

Nevertheless the answer to your question, i would live with my husband's family but with self respect and dignity holding my point and saying it straight in the eye.

But on the contrary would not bear physicsl abuse or dowry incident luckily as shown in the show SB family has biased behavior but not physically abusive to Sayali.

"Not physically abusive to Sayali" Seriously? The way Purna Aaji ,Kalpana and Asmita has dragged her and threw her, wasn't that physical abuse? Purna Aaji once punished Sayali to not eat for whole day? Wasn't that abuse?

I am in no favour of Kalpana and aaji behavior at time of CM reveal cvs should be credited for that sudden flip

The question was will you stay or leave the family if you were Sayali.

My answer is yes I'll stay and with dignity take my stand...

For example i am pure veg, but my inlaws cook non veg too. They accepted that since i don't eat non veg, i don't cook it. Other family members made it look like big crime on my part but my bestie said if she is not comfortable then she will not cook let my husband do helping in the cooking that day.

Till date after 19 years of marriage i don't cook non veg.

initially they judged me but slowly they have stopped doing so... My bestie noticed that i felt shy in eating food if i am not helping in kitchen when non veg cooked so she told her son to take me out for lunch / dinner till all the other members gel with me and stop judging me on this one thing...

It took time but every change takes time...

This is just one incident i am sharing, my point is every time you need not shout and argue to prove your point.
