Akshara could declare all she wanted but show's narrative wouldn't allow Abhir to perform last rites of his father when he is alive

It's good that the makers ended Rohit's track. Him going unpunished after his criminal acts was very bad. It's demoralising from an audience point of view to watch such a man who perceives his wife as a baby making machine , literally encourages her to become a surrogate. Good that pathetic man died.
