Kuch nahi idhar Gen 3 se bahar nahi aa pa rahe log, now female lead's last name is Sharma, that's her name, she got from her mother and father but suddenly, it is father's name and not her name

The point of women not changing their last name was because it was a part of their identity but people make it about husband or father
