I watched that episode of Neeya Naana. It was a bit triggering honestly. By the time episode aired, the law was fully in place and the episode itself was irrelevantly discussed and most seemed to argue abt commercial surrogacy. The lady who came seemed sad but they commercialized on her unnecessary feelings abt cutting cake for the child and how she feels it’s hers. Ppl willingly sign up for this stuff and complain later

I was in dilemma post that episode.. On one side I felt bad when she said she misses baby often but later on as she spoke i was like dint u know already about what will happen after 9 months ? You signed up for it how is the other party wrong here.. But that episode ended on bad note.. They called surrogacy itself as wrong and selfishly exploiting other women instead of questioning only commercial surrogacy..

IVF is such a sensitive topic... Kahin aur ban ho na ho... But iTv mein definetly ban hona chahiye and it should be illegal to air such tracks in India...

Producers should be jailed for it...

Exactly my thoughts. I couldn’t believe the judgmental note on one side arguing abt adoption and asking to normalize childless. Without society ever acknowledging the normalization of perfect family with kids, we shouldn’t be asking couple to go through it!

Yeah I was upset how they had chance to educate people but ended up shaming women for her choice and urging women to be childless if they can't conceive and winning award for it .. 🤦‍♀

Offcourse surrogacy is morally and ethically wrong but materialistic and primitive mindset people who see women only as child bearers will deem it fine.

Exploiting someone by taking advantage of her financial crisis or emotionally manipulate her to carry a baby and eventually separate it from the mother via some stupid contact, only perverts can find this thing to be right.

Again why are u shaming people for their choices when other person is ready as well.. Some people don't even take money but do it out of love for others.. How it is wrong?
