Something like this happened in kasauti zindagi ki way way back

After leap prerna was married to mr. Bajaj and anurag married to someone else. Then to save prerna's daughter whose biological father was anurag, they needed bone marrow of their another child. Both anurag and prerna's bone marrow didnt match but doctor told that sibling bone marrow is always 100 percent match...

So i thought yaha to makers pehle se hi bahut toxic hai toh unke liye to ye koi badi baat nahi hogi

No consummate is not needed for bone marrow transplant prodcedure.. its like any other transplantation where doner has to match with operated person bone marrow in case of child mother or father.. consummate is different ball game all together.. I dont know as i am no doctor but something like this was shown in one tv show, there both mother and father's bone marrow didn't match so doctor suggested them to have another child as sibling's bone marrow is always perfect match. Ab pata nahi kitna authentic tha but then tv serials mein authenticity hoti kaha hai
