She was "understanding" and "forgiving" in her own matter with Armaan when he apologized. She is applying the same logic with Vidya when the latter has come with an apology

Armaan wouldn't even have ever met his mother or found out about years of lies, had it not been due to the same caring nature of Abhira.

Not comparing Both character, because honestly even at his worse Armaan is more acceptable.

Just how Abhira is perceiving the situation.

She was willing to give another chance to Armaan, she is doing the same with Vidya.

She has done similar thing with all other character in past.

If it is to believed that a super confident, mouthy girl like Abhira can become a doormat because of her self-esteem taking a hit for about a year or so, imagine what Shivani’s sense of self-esteem and self-worth must be like given that she was rejected by Kaveri, told that her husband was dead, sent off to some ashram and driven to madness, spending thirty years in wilderness looking for the only source of joy in her life, her Aaru ..sometimes she was made to believe he was by her side but heart knew what her brain did not ..this woman is going to be grateful to the universe for even the smallest act of kindness or what she perceives as kindness …she’s grateful to her own son for standing up for her and being by her side ..she doesn’t think of anything as her right nor does she feel entitled in anyway …Shivani is the most tragic character in Rishtaverse by far !
