Abhira acted nice in front of those whom she can't control no matter what she does, Ruhi is not as powerful as her in the house so she slapped her

Thappad movie was about this only, husband was upset with boss but couldn't slap him, he employed restraint there but he slapped his wife

She is like her mother parents, when Goenkas offered Abhinav job he said no because he had self respect but he continued living there for free, then celebrated his birthday in resort which he had planned even though he didn't pay for it, Abhimanyu did but he took all the credit for it

On the other hand, Abhimanyu paid rent when he lived with Sharmas, he got the job as a doctor, bought house for his family, enrolled Abhir in a good school, encouraged Akshara to continue her practice
