Honestly, we can't know how much a person we don't live with suffers from mental health issues...and sometimes this even happens when one lives with someone.
Working as a creative person in a field where competition is an important part of life and every public appearance (including the work) is judged and scrutinized, easily can lead to all sort of mental and physical issues.
In my real life, I mainly care for those I live with...in my forum life, I would try to focus on what I like about the people dicussed here or write about some observations I made... however keeping in mind that I could be wrong.

My honest opinion and speculation, I think she’s always had issues. I think unfortunately mental illness runs in her family. At the time of that panel conversation with her family members she may have not realized or become aware of her own issues. Yes I do believe that her marriage exasperated her issues. I don’t think her marriage caused her issues though.
This isn’t the first time she’s talked about this. A few years ago she mentioned getting very sad at times and said Ayan Mukerjee was one of her sounding boards that she talked to about her feelings.
