I wish Alia is cast in the movie. 😜 Ranveer and Alia actually have decent chemistry.

Plus it would be fun to see some people changing colors if this happens. 😂

I’m amongst the people who thought they might work around her schedule. To be honest one of the main reasons I thought so is because this movie was supposed to go into production last year and Kiara was open and available last year. And since it was the producers’ decision to delay production they would want to accommodate Kiara’s schedule now. And frankly I didn’t take Farhan at his words that the movie will start filming in August, so if it was gonna get delayed again anyway why not just wait for her. However, now that she’s out the movie probably will actually start in August.

For what it’s worth (probably not worth much since it’s from Reddit) someone on Reddit mentioned that Kiara actually dropped out of Don3 in 2024. If she was planning to start a family in 2025 I suppose that makes sense too.

Yea Kriti would be a good choice. Tripti would be a good choice too. Or Excel can go outside the box and pick Sanya Malhotra.

The movie was never going to start last year, it was always scheduled to start filming this year. It was scheduled initially to start Jan-Feb this year but has been pushed back only by a few months mainly because ranveer started filming Dhurandar and farhan was filming his movie.

By the time augast comes around kiara will be heavily pregnant, then she'll be on maternity leave. And the films production can't wait that long. So it seems kiara and farhan mutually agreed that it's better for her not to be in film as it would delay things by many more months

I thought it was supposed to start in the middle of 2024. If it was always gonna start in 2025 then why make the announcement in 2023? Shouldn’t a company like Excel have foreseen all the rumors and speculations that would start and dilute the hype of a movie by announcing it two years before production?
