IMO it was a badly cut trailer. It looked like a hodgepodge of different scenes all moving too fast.

As for Ibrahim, I think people expected more out of him and perhaps that’s not fair. But he got a lot of positive reactions to his Puma photoshoots and he got elevated based on those when he probably shouldn’t have been, not to the extent that he was. He had a certain charm and presence in those still shots that’s been lacking in reels. And obviously the badly cut trailer makes him look even worse, but as I said above that could also be because the movie just turned out bad 🤷🏽‍♀️

Who knows?! Maybe when the movie is out Ibrahim will surprise all of us. Personally I’m not holding my breath but wait and see.

I am apparently going against the tide.

I actually like this.. looks very promising. Khushi and Ibrahim have good chemistry.

Story looks a bit predictable but the cast have spark.

Good to see Mahima, Jugal Hansraj, Suniel Shetty and Dia Mirza as well

I see this get brought up on Reddit all the time. But from whatever I’ve heard of Ibrahim speaking to the paps I’ve never noticed any lisp. So if he has/had any it’s clearly under control.

Obviously this lack of promotions and lack of a proper dialogue line in the trailer is fueling this rumor more. In reality all of that could just be because the movie turned out bad 🤷🏻‍♀️. The director is nepo adjacent. Shauna Guatam, the daughter of Pammi Bakshi Guatam who was not only an actress once but is apparently close friends to older generation Bollywood or Bollywood wives. I wonder if she’s the Pammi auntie Ranveer and KJo were talking about on KWK? 🤔

Until having watched the movie at least, I also go "against the tide"...I liked the trailer and didn't find it cut in too short sequences like it's often done with other movie trailers...I also got the feeling that the characters get scope of showing and acting out genuine emotions.

(maybe, just maybe, it's that I've no bias against any star kids trying to follow the acting route of their parents before getting to watch them in different movies)
