I am not aware about the original version which was in Tamil. But in Kannada version Neenade na properly reason was not shown. Vikram is a friend of gangster named Kote Rajendra and he addresses him as Nayakaru which means Netaji only. Nayakaru uses Vikram in various situations for his benefit. Vikram's father fears this thing a lot and he shares his fear with Veda. Veda asks why you didn't directly tell Vikram to stay away from him. For this Vikram's father Jagannath says I have advised him, whole family said this to him. But he never listened to us. Vikram and Veda's bonding becomes strong upon Veda saving Vikram from a case where police arrests him. Evidences were against Vikram but Veda finds truth about it since she is daughter of Judge and also she is aware about law points she investigates it properly. She finds out whole game is planned by Kote only. But since he has lot of influence in politics and police Veda couldn't expose him. But still she gathers proofs and submit it to police station. With that proofs Finally when Vikram's innocence is proved by Veda and Vikram is released from jail. Veda tries to tell Kote is utilizing Vikram but Vikram didn't believes his wife Veda. Vikram tells when he was framed in a murder which he didn't committed the whole village didn't believed him.. In fact his own father didn't trusted him. He was just 21 years only and was doing his post graduation. The whole college stood against him . At that time Kote saved him from getting death sentence and that's why he is loyal to gangster Kote. So what will he say he will do it. But this reason was not shown as a proper scene in show. Rest of the story is Veda's attempts for changing Vikram. Vikram slowly gets attracted towards her though Veda tries various ways to express her feelings Vikram always stood as adamant. Once Veda's dad got kidnapped by some goons and Veda requests Vikram to save her dad. For this Vikram put forward a condition that he will save her dad. But after that she should leave this home. Veda cries and agreesto it. That episode was an emotional roller coaster. Upon Veda's exit Vikram's parents scolds him a lot and he says dad always says I am a puppet in gangster's hand and I am a rowdy. Veda deserves a better person and he goes to his room and locks it. Then he cries a lot,.. Later Veda goes to her home. Meanwhile Veda's dad fixes her marriage with Preetam who is actually her uncle's son and earlier there marriage was fixed but it doesn't happened since Vikram ties mangalsutra at Veda's neck. Veda tries a lot to make understand her dad she loves Vikram and he is her husband . But dad says he doesn't loves you then what's the use of loving him? He himself said this to me while saving me. In fact he only said that I should make arrangements for your married with Preetam. Veda feels sad hearing this. She calls Vikram but he didn't picks call. In between Vikram's leg got shot as police shoot him in an encounter. Veda scretly brings Vikram to her home and removes bullet from his leg. Also she takes care off him. Upon that time Vikram feels emotionally attached towards Veda and he apologize to her for sending her out . But still Vikram didn't says he loves her. Finally Vikram goes from the house saying bye and they hugs which was very emotional to watch. Veda Preetam marriage day arrives and Vikram couldn't stop himself from telling his feelings. He goes to mandap and stops marriage and confesses his love towards his wife. They unites and rest of the episodes are their happiest saddest moments and serial ends with Veda getting pregnant.

in kannada.... it was Sihi-Ram pure father daughter love..
