Not hard if u put ur heart n mind to it. Make it a habit. In our family, since childhood we greet eachother with Jai Shree Krishna..we see off eachother with Jai Shree Krishna. We bow to God and say Jai Shree Krishna while stepping out of the house..our phone calls with family start with Jai Shree Krishna. Even while reading this u recited Jai Shree Krishna 5 times

In Germany, in the South, and in Austria people greet each other with "Grüß Gott" (which means litterally 'greetings to God'/'greet God')...it's like "good day". Or when giving someone a welcome in the home then they say "Grüß Gott, tritt ein, bring Glück herein" (Greet God/Welcome, step inside and bring good luck with you) smiley1

It is indeed a rare astronomical event. Pretty much the complete Indian culture is based on Planetary movements/ alignments. Whether it's festivals( Diwali- Dark night, Holi- Full Moon etc), Muhurata(Planetary alignments to start something new), The Panchang or the Hindu Calendar is based on the distance between Sun-Moon(Tithi). The Vedas have very little mention of the Modern Hindu God's but is filled with stories of Bhristpati(Jupiter), ShukraCharya(Venus), Shani Dev(Saturn) etc etc. In short, Planetary Movement is virtually the crux of Ancient Indian spirituality which makes the 2025 Alignment extremely significant.

That said, there's no shortage of Politicians, Influencers, Fake Gurus who will use this to their advantage. Religion is a great divisive force in the modern world. Add in the millions of uncontrolled Masses, the littering and the defecation and no doubt it's become more of a financial/political sh*t show rather than the spiritual one it's meant to be. I think you're much more likely to connect with the universe at home, at this point.

Stay curious!!

Which religious ritual/belief is not being manipulated and misused by the politicians? Why is there so much political chatter only around the Hinduism? You think Christmas, Ramadan and other Islamic rituals are devoid of political agendas? After this thread I went and checked and was shocked to see how much the international media is trying to manipulate the narrative around this. Do you see such chatter around the stampedes happening every year during the Haj? If there is any political agenda involved, it is of the international media trying to belittle the religious sentiments of a common Hindu there by fueling the discrimination and hatred towards a Hindu globally.

The people going there and participating in these festivals are not driven by any politics, be it the Hindus or Christians or Muslims. So it’s offensive to bring this political mumbo jumbo to them because essentially what they were doing is dismissing off their sentiments and saying to their face that all they were doing is being the toys in the hands of politicians. My grandparents for example, who painstakingly travelled all the way just to take a dip and render salutations to their ancestors , didn’t go there because of any politics.

Contribute in a positive way on a nobody site? Sorry I'm not a internet warrior.

I just come here for an escape. Which is seems impossible.

Why the hell would I want to talk about other religions on a thread about the Kumbh Mela? 🤣

Sticking to the topic is "liberating". You should try it sometime. Moreover, if you tried reading my post it clearly mentions that the hyenas will try taking advantage of such a huge gathering, not that everyone whose heading there is politically motivated. Comprehension problems, as discussed previously.

Hopefully your grandparents are bringing you some of the holy water. 🙏

Seriously? I was actually supporting your pov about not bringing wokism into everything. You definitely missed the nuance.
@ bold: looks like it’s time to take your own advice. And forgive me for hurting you in that thread. You don’t have to have your attack mode on for every time I try to interact with you.

Sincerely hoping someone is bringing the holy water to you too…🫰

No attack Mode. Only Chill Mode 😎

All i ask is to not take my posts out of context, when you quote me.

Unfortunately I have nobody at the Kumbh this year so I'll just make do with regular Gangaajal( who really knows where it's actually from) from the Grocery store.😞
